The "Finding Lasting Approaches to Sustaining Health" research study offers a program to help you improve your overall health. We provide a flexible and caring approach to weight loss along with support for other health-related goals including healthy diet, physical activity, sleep, and emotional wellbeing.
After receiving our 6-month in-person group treatment program, spend 12 months helping us test a smartphone app for tracking health behaviors and maintaining changes that you made during treatment.
Our approach begins with respect for people living in larger bodies. We commit to providing a respectful, caring environment to support personal growth.
Every journey toward health improvement is unique. We provide education and tools to set your own goals, and skills to reach those goals.
The behavior change techniques that we offer are based on science. We encourage you to run "experiments" to discover what works best for you!
Maintaining health improvements can be a challenge! Help us test smartphone technology designed to make the most of your time & effort.
Our understanding of weight and what it means to have a healthy lifestyle
has changed a lot in recent years. In this research study, we are testing an
updated approach that is more flexible and compassionate.
